Ukrainian Agro-Insurance Company is the leading insurer at the Ukrainian insurance market of risks in agricultural production that provides a wide range of corporate and individual insurance services for all types of life insurance.
History of “Ukrainian agro-insurance company” Private JSC begins on the 27th of June 1995, when “Insurance Company “Salamandra-Dnipro” Joint-Stock Company was established.
Precisely at that time, research of agricultural insurance market started and laid foundations for a new progressive approach to this type of insurance.
On the 4th of March 2004 the Insurance Company was re-registered into “Insurance Company “Salamandra-Dnipro” Closed Joint-Stock Company.
During all the time of its activity, the Company successfully overcame problems, occurring before it in the process of young state development and grew up together with Ukraine, identifying place and mission in its economy.
The final stage in the determining of principle directions of the insurance company’s activity was the year of 2008, when by means of complete reorganization the Company was reorganized into “Ukrainian agro-insurance company” CJSC.
Since that time, the successful implementation of a unique system of risk management in the agricultural insurance risks started.
In 2009 the company successfully overcame crisis tendencies of world and national economy, rapidly increased its insurance portfolio and achieved unprecedented growth rate: 268.3%.
At year-end 2009 the Ukrainian agro-insurance company became the market leader, achieving 42% of the Ukrainian agricultural insurance market .
The company rapidly increased insurance in the agricultural sector and at the year-end 2010 became the first in Ukraine by the number of insurance contracts and insured crop acres; and by the premium amounts focused about 63% of the total insurance premiums for agricultural insurance in Ukraine.
Growth rates of insurance premiums amounted to: 444.8%.
Having closed victoriously the year of 2010, the Company got wide public recognition and got the National Award “Agro insurer of the year” and the title “Enterprise of the Year 2010”.
However, the highest rate of recognition was the trust of our customers, the number of which was growing rapidly, primarily, due to agricultural enterprises.
The Company’s reputation was growing rapidly at the insurance and reinsurance market in Ukraine and abroad.
The result of high international prestige was the conclusion of agreements in the October of 2011 with the most authoritative international brokers and reinsurers: «AON Finland Oy», «Scor Global P & C SE», «Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd», «Polish Reinsurance Company». Since that time Ukrainian agro-insurance company received guarantees from international reinsurers by agricultural insurance agreements for its customers.
Ukrainian agro-insurance company is the member of the League of Ukrainian Insurance Organizations (LIOU).
Currently, the company actively develops a corporate agent network, increases new kinds of insurance services.
